Pet Grooming School

Something to Bark About Pet Grooming Academy offer a unique approach to training our students to become Professional Groomers. Our students learn in a real work environment, in our professional grooming salon. Our student to instructor ratio is only 2 to 1. Students get lots of hands on instruction. We customize the training to suit each student's individualized needs. We are the only pet grooming training facility in western North Carolina.

We offer 4 different courses:

• Professional Pet Groomer Course
• Advanced Pet Groomer Course
• Basic Grooming Course
• Pet Bather/ Prepper Course

Here at Something to Bark About we take great pride in being a very professional and well respected grooming facility. We look at grooming as an art form that we truly have a passion for. We will be looking for an individual(s) that shows a great interest and is very enthusiastic about this opportunity. You must be physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and be on your feet all day. This is a very physically challenging career but the rewards are great.
