Professional Pet Groomer Course

Hours: 480 / 16 weeks
Objective: To prepare students for a career as a Professional Pet Groomer. This is a comprehensive course that upon completion students will have the basic skills to groom 3-5 dogs a day and procure employment as a Professional Groomer.

Tuition: $3500. Toolkit is an additional fee. In House Financing Available.

Advanced Pet Groomers Course:

Hours: 360 / 12 weeks

Prerequisite: Completion of professional pet groomer course. Description: This course is to expand the basic skills learned in the professional pet groomer course. Students will get more practical, hands on experience as well as learning advanced grooming techniques. This course will prepare students to make more money once they enter the job market and make them more marketable as an employee. It also gives them the skill to open their own grooming business.

Tuition: $2000 In House Financing Available.

Basic Grooming Course:

Hours: 240 / 8 weeks

Students will learn basic grooming skills: bathing and drying, correct brushing, combing techniques as well as dematting. Ear plucking and cleaning, nail clipping and grinding. Basic clipper skills. This course prepares the student to find an entry level position in a grooming shop as an apprentice as well as a bather and groomer's assistance.

Pet Bather / Brusher Course:

Hours: 120 / 4 weeks

Objective: To enable students to perform all necessary skills and techniques to perform the bathing/drying aspect of the grooming process. Students will learn skill necessary to procure a job in a grooming salon as a Bather/Prepper. Bathers prep, bath and dry dogs for the groomer to perform the full groom.

Tuition: $1000. In House Financing Available.
